In 2018 we raised £2300 which brings the total raised by the show to just over £21,000 over the past 9 shows since 2010 which is an amazing amount, and its entirely due to all the support we have had from our sponsors, competitors and helpers over the years.
In 2015 Carol and I were invited down to the Royal Dick Hospital to be introduced to Princess Anne who is the patron of the Equine Grass Sickness Fund. Something I never expected when organising the first show in 2010!
Please help by sponsoring a class!! This year we have mostly the same classes as previous years but have added a mare and foal class (for any breed) and the ridden appaloosa class has been dropped (which had no entries last year), although an in hand "spotted" class has been retained.
This will be our tenth show and it has been far more successful and raised far more money for the fund than Carol and I imagined when we started it back in 2010. However I am needing a rest and want to do other things with my spring months than be glued to a computer doing entries, so this year will be the last show, unless my cousin gets a committee together to run it in the future, which she is considering.
I tend to use our facebook page for regular updates so keep checking our facebook page...despite the best intentions I never manage to keep the website as up to date as the facebook page and usually just use it for posting schedule, sponsorship etc...
